the one and the only

This is piece is #11 for a show called counting. The surface is composed of the word “the” cut from varies books glued to the surface of the board. The sides of the board are gold origami paper, and the circles are black ink. The piece asks the question, “is there a one and the only?” and is open for interpretation. This piece, like much of my work, is a little bit of playful nonsense and commentary on topics that are sometimes serious.
