40 days & 40 nights
black & blue
40 days & 40 nights (ink & paper on paper) is composed of 40 4" x 4" blue squares and 40 4" x 4" black squares. The circles in the center of each square is 40 circles with in the each circle. The circles were cut from from maps some of which were painted black. The circles progress through the days adding or subtracting a black circle. The circles are a count down. The plan is to hang the piece length wise with the blue squares on the top row and black squares on the bottom. The approximate size of the piece is 15' x 8". The pricing is $40 each per square with a 4 square minimum.
sheep vs goats
The sheep are rewarded for showing compassion for others. The goats who neglect acts of kindness will be punished…just saying
communicating is hard
A WIP piece in a new series of drawings using with ink or water color pencil on paper. This piece is internet acronyms LOL, LMOA, LMFAO using the utopian alphabet. The series is about communication, being heard, oversharing, hate speech, understanding, not understanding, basically the state of public and private discourse.

First piece in a series, circle meets the square, using 8x8’ paper and recycled art work. reuse, recycle, redo, revise. The gold foil paper is recycled from a hard cider packaging.

the only and the only is a collage consisting of 33 2.25 x 3.5” pieces of paper. The plane is to frame the piece in 3 frames with 11 pieces of paper per frame. I would hang the 3 frames staggered vertically.

The Utopian language is the language of the fictional land of Utopia, as described in Thomas More's Utopia. I like to discover different alphabets or ciphers and use them in my work. This is one of my favorites.
