Black and blue ink, pastel, and paper on three linen canvases. I painted layers and layers of stripes using different shades of black and blue ink to create the surface of each canvas. I then applied pastel and/or paper to give the pieces depth. I use multiplies in much of my work to create patterns. Sometimes the actual number of the set adds meaning. For example, the number 3 could have a religious connotation for some viewers.
