This piece is one in a series called Orbs. Circles and black and blue are recurring themes in many of my pieces. A circle is perfect, and it contains or keeps things out. This piece has a black-and-blue surface with a gold-leafed circle that has been destroyed. On the surface is a repeated phrase accedie accedie acci-dee-dee-da, which I typed on transparent paper and then placed on the piece like a chant.
